15 years of service to British Columbia

Hike BC began as a group of people belonging to the Federation of Mountain Clubs of BC in 1998 who were interested in extending the original Footpath across Canada into BC.  By the year 2000, this group had congealed into a group of individuals who met for the sole purpose of building, maintaining, and promoting the National Hiking Trail of Canada.  In 2005, Hike BC formalized itself by becoming a registered not-for-profit organization in BC.  Hike BC continues to expand the footpath in BC that is known as the National Hiking Trail of BC.  Hike BC will be celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2015.
